Starting November 11, we will begin at a new time, in hopes that more women can join us! We will begin a new study of 1 Samuel using the book
1 Samuel by John MacArthur. The book may be purchased from Amazon. The first week will be an introduction. Please join us!

WHAT: FBC Women's Retreat
WHEN: February 20th and 21st, 2026 (optional: additional night Thursday, February 19th)
WHERE: We are moving to a new location! We will travel just down the road to the beautiful town of Beaufort, SC! Rooms are reserved at the Sea Island Inn in historic downtown Beaufort. You can check out the accommodations here.
WHO: This event is for women of all ages and is a great opportunity to enjoy a night (or two) away, relax, make new friends, and dig into God's word!

Youth Christmas Party
FBC Youth: Join us as we break out our UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATERS and celebrate Christmas together! We will EAT DINNER (provided!), PLAY WHITE ELEPHANT ($10 gift), and enjoy CHRISTMAS GAMES to get us in the Christmas spirit!

What to Bring: Your ugliest Christmas sweater, a wrapped gift $10 or less (if you want to play White Elephant), a Christmas treat (eg: cookies or other holiday treats, if you want).

Christmas Carols, Cookies and Cocoa: A Joy-Filled Community Christmas Hymn Sing
Join us for a cozy and joy-filled evening of Christmas carols, hot cocoa, and celebration as we reflect on the hope and wonder of Jesus’ birth! This simple, meaningful, and family-friendly gathering is open to everyone — so bring your friends, neighbors, and all the Christmas cheer you can muster!
What to Expect

• A sweet time of community, celebration, and singing

Christmas Eve Service
Plan to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ with us! Our family-friendly service will be held in the sanctuary at 5:00 PM. We will finish by walking out onto the front lawn and singing “Joy to the World.”

Last year’s retreat was such a success, we plan to return to Huger again. The retreat will be from March 13 - 14, (with a possible extra night on March 12). More details and sign-up are coming soon!
Christmas Caroling to Homebound Members
Meet at the church at 5:00 PM. We will break up into groups and take Christmas cheer and singing to our homebound members! This is a beautiful way to show the love of Christ, and bring some Christmas cheer to them. No perfect singing voices required!

It is that time of year again! FBC is once again a collection site for the OCC shoeboxes. You can pick up empty shoeboxes in the Welcome Center to fill and return to FBC on the following dates, (or you can fill your own):
November 17-21 between 3:00 - 5:00 PM
November 22-23 between 1:00 - 3:00 PM &
November 24 between 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
The church will have a pizza and packing party on the last Midweek of this season on November 19 at 5:30 PM in the CLC!

Women's Breakfast
Join us on Saturday, October 4th, at 9:00 AM for Food, Fellowship, and Discussion.
We'll enjoy some delicious breakfast and fellowship, then have some time to discuss how to be intentional with our relationships inside and outside the church through discipleship, mentoring, service, and more.

5th Sunday Fellowship Meal
Make plans to attend the 5th Sunday lunch on August 31. It will be held in the CLC/ Gym immediately following the worship service. Church Conference & Budget Meeting
Please join us at this church conference for updates to our various ministries and to discuss the proposed church budget for the new fiscal year. Ministry and budget details will be emailed to members in advance. At the conference, we will vote to approve the budget and to affirm church trustee, David Hibbs, for a new term. Voting is for FBC members only, but all are welcome and encouraged to attend.
5th Sunday Fellowship Meal

Youth Summer Retreat at Awanita Valley
FBC MTP Youth Retreat
When: June 6th-8th
Where: Awanita Valley (600 Gap Creek Rd. Marietta, SC 29661)
Cost: $170 (food, lodging, transportation, t-shirt).
What: All students grades 6th - 12th are invited to join us for a weekend retreat! Our theme is "CONNECTED" and we will explore what it means to be connected to God as we love and obey him and connected to one another as we fellowship with Christians and love non-Christians.

Missions Council Bible Study for Women
Missions Council Women’s Bible Study
The Missions Council will host another Women’s Bible Study every first Tuesday of the month at the FBC campus (Room 105/107) from 4-6 pm beginning June 3rd.
